As Simple As Tabasco

Life is really as simple as Tabasco. Pepper, Vinegar, Water, Salt. And what do you get? Tasty, tangy Tabasco! From one angle it is that simple. When you don't question too much any more and just keep going on and on since deep down you understand. Not in your head but in your heart.

You acknowledge that the head lags behind and will play catch up with the heart so let it play. Let it indulge in its silly quest of wanting to make sense. But the heart knows deep down that it does make sense. Well, if not the heart, then something deep down does know, call it whatever you wish to.

This is a good state to be in since all questionings of the mind become little indulgences that one gives in to at times of leisure, but they never come in the way of action. Since action is based on the knowledge deep down that justifies it. An example of a silly question that one may have come upon is "Why should one work?". Or "Why should one do anything?".

On silencing the mind, it seems like a silly question - actually it sound more like a non-question. It has no raison de-etre. But let the mind loose and with it are unleashed a million more hounds that chase you night and day until you have sated them by throwing them the decomposing body of an antiquated argument. After feasting on which awhile, they come running back at you for another. And the game goes on. But once you turn to them and say, "Shh, shut up and go away and sleep in your houses". That's it. You're free. You can work or not work, without having to answer.

One can't be expected to make too much sense at 10:45pm on a Sunday night. I should be getting to bed!
